Student presentations

For presentations with the ComNets department, you are required to follow some formal steps that include the use of the right template, preserving a proper form, and adhering to slide and time limits. In the following, you will find the requirements for your type of presentation.

Before any presentation with the ComNets department, you are supposed to send the presentation slides to your supervisor. Usually, we will provide an HDMI cable or similar, so that you can connect your personal laptop to the projector. We will however not provide any adapters for your computers, so make sure that you are able to plug an HDMI cable into your laptop. If you do not have a personal laptop, contact your supervisor in advance. If you wish to use a pointer or similar, you need to bring that. You are supposed to come a few minutes before the scheduled start of your presentation to set up everything. The setup time is not included in your presentation time. If you have a final presentation, you are welcome to invite your peers, friends, or family. Usually, a dedicated room in the NW1 building will be booked for this time slot.
