Random behavior
It is relatively simple to schedule a message randomly in OMNeT++. In fact, the kernel offers you many different random number generators, which you can use directly, like here with the uniform integer-based one:
scheduleAt(simTime()+intuniform(10,1000), msg);
This will schedule the message for a random number between 10 and 1000. Try it out!
If you skip the simTime() and use intuniform() alone, the simulator might crash. This is due to the time properties of the discrete events - you cannot schedule anything in the past!
